Sensory Related (there's a TON more I want to add here!)
Below are some great visuals and a social story I have created. I must give credit to the developers of the Alert Program: How Does your Engine Run?, Mary Sue Williams, OTR, and Sherry Shellenberger, OTR. They developed a full program to help individuals learn about self-regulation. Please check out their website here. These Occupational Therapists have inspired me to make these visuals and stories using the same self-regulation concepts and language. *If you print off the first visual to laminate with the arrow, make sure to cut and paste the arrow to another page. What I do is copy a whole bunch of arrows to another page and print them so I don't waste paper and have a bunch of laminated arrows the next time I am making more visuals!
